Privacy Policy
This page explains how Money Game (“the app”) handles information.
Information stored on your device
You can play without creating an account. Your best scores, your total savings, your helper items, your Today's Mission and daily gift progress, your settings (color, sound, language, mode, currency and reminders) and any game in progress are saved on your device. We do not receive any of this (except the anonymous play summaries described below).
Deleting the app deletes this data.
Ads (iPhone and iPad app)
The app shows ads from Google AdMob, an ad service provided by Google.
- When the jar overflows, you can choose to watch a video ad to remove coins. You only see it if you choose to.
- After you see your results, a full-screen ad may appear when you go to the next game or the home screen (with a gap between ads so they don't appear too often).
- A small banner ad appears at the bottom of screens where the game is stopped, such as the home and results screens. Ads never appear while you are playing.
To show ads, Google may receive information such as your device type and OS, your approximate region estimated from your IP address, records of ad views and taps, diagnostic information, and your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking, below). We do not send your game records or settings.
Tracking permission: The first time you open the app, iOS asks “Allow this app to track your activity?” If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier is used to show ads that fit you better. You can play the whole game without allowing it (ads are still shown). You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Users in Europe, the UK and similar regions: Where the law requires consent, Google's consent screen lets you choose how your data is used for ads. You can change your choice later in the app under Settings → Ad settings.
Ad content is limited to ratings suitable for all ages up to parental guidance (PG). Tapping an ad may open Safari, the App Store or another screen outside the app.
For how Google handles information, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Reminders (notifications) and widget (iPhone and iPad app)
Reminders: Only if you choose to turn them on, the app reminds you in the evening, at most once a day, such as on days you can get a gift. Reminders are scheduled on your device; we do not send them from a server, and we do not receive any information from your device. You can turn them off in the app under Settings → Reminders, or in iOS Settings.
Widget: The images shown in the Home Screen widget (your savings, your next item and so on) are made by the app on your device and stored in a place on your device that only the app and its widget can use. Nothing is sent outside your device.
Share images and access to Photos
The share image is made on your device. It is not sent to our servers. You choose the app or service you share it with.
iOS asks for permission to add images to Photos only when you choose “Save Image” on the share screen. The app never reads your photos.
Anonymous play summaries
To balance the game, a short summary of each finished game is sent to our server. Only these items are sent: the date played (date only), the currency (Japanese yen or US dollars), the mode, the amount, the biggest money made, how many times money went to the bank, the number of drops, the play time, the longest combo, whether an ad rescued the game, how many helper items were used, whether it was a new best, the app version, and the device type (iPhone, iPad, etc.).
We do not send names, device IDs or exact times. The receiving server (a Cloudflare service) is set up not to keep per-request logs (such as IP addresses), so we cannot tell whose summary it is. We use the summaries only to see overall trends (such as average amounts and how far players get), not for ads.
If you don't want to send them, choose “Don't send” in the app under Settings → Play data. Summaries not yet sent are deleted from your device at that time.
Ranking (iPhone and iPad app)
After you finish your first game, you automatically join the ranking with a name made from a random combination of provided words (you can change your name, country and icon at any time on the ranking screen or in Settings). When you join, the following is sent to our server (Cloudflare) and shown in the ranking: your name (a combination of provided words and a number), your country or region (your device's region at first; you can choose not to show it), your game records (amount, biggest money made, number of drops, play time, longest combo and helper items used), the time they were sent and the app version.
When you join, a player number and a passcode created by the server are saved in your device's keychain. We do not store your name, email address, device ID or IP address.
You can leave at any time in Settings → “Leave the ranking”, which deletes all of your records on the server. After you leave, nothing is sent for the ranking unless you join again yourself.
In-app purchases (Helper Set, iPhone and iPad app)
Purchases of the Helper Set are processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, email address or payment information.
To confirm purchases and make sure you receive the items you bought, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. An anonymous identifier created by the app (not linked to your name or email address) and the purchase record (product, date, country, etc.) are sent to RevenueCat. Other information
Other than the anonymous play summaries above, the app does not include any analytics tools. It does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, location or contacts. Music and sound effects are generated on your device.
These pages
This page is delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers). When you view a page, information needed for communication, such as your IP address and the time of access, is sent to the delivery service.
Children
This app is a general-audience game for all ages. No personal information is needed to play. Because ads can open screens outside the app, we recommend that parents keep an eye on children while they play.
Information you send when contacting us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and what you send us. We use it only to reply and to look into problems, keep it only as long as needed, and never use it for ads.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. If the Japanese version and this English version differ, the Japanese version takes precedence.
